Well Dressed on Wheels
I love this Copenhagen blog, Cycle Chic, showcasing people looking good while riding bikes. Dresses, heels, suits ... European bikers put the bikers in the U.S. to sartorial shame!To do my small part, I have been riding to work in heels this week. It is really just as easy as riding in sneakers.
Is she implying that clip in cycling shoes are unfashionable?

I have actually never seen such contraptions! What are their benefits over ... real shoes?
People need to stop this stupid self-abasement towards Europe. The Sartorialist (thesartorialist.blogspot.com) is an American blogger who also has a thing for well-dressed bicyclists - and he gets an amazing number of photos of fashionable, sundress-and-heel wearing cyclists on the streets of New York City.
This attitude is just embarrassing. I like Europe as much as the next person but Americans don't do themselves any favors by cowtowing at the Continent like smug little bootlickers.
